Les Chocolates de Chloe

My sister Sheila received a trip to Montreal, Quebec, from her friends for her birthday on July 8. An interesting fact: Montreal is the largest city in the province of Quebec, the second-largest city in Canada and the seventh largest in North America (as per Wikipedia). Cool! She flew out the morning of her 23rd year, lost 3 hours of her day (darn time zones), but gained memories that will last a lifetime. For me, I gained ~2 pounds (no, not of weight, well, perhaps) worth of delicious chocolate goodies that Sheila brought back for me. I am truly spoiled.

Chocolate pistachio biscotti, chocolate masala bar and assorted chocolates.
Chocolate pistachio biscotti

I dipped one of these in my tea yesterday and holy moly….They. Are. Awesome. So chocolatey and crumbly with the perfect amount of pistachios. I love biscotti, yet I don’t have it often enough! This has got to change.

Pistachio, black pepper, coffee and sea salt

I found all of the flavorings to be quite mild, almost undetectable. Not a big deal to me though because I still enjoyed the deliciously rich and smooth chocolate.
Milk Chocolate with Chai Spices

I could definitely taste the masala in this chocolate bar though. The spice was on the mild to medium side which is prefect because I don’t think I would like it if it were any stronger.
Thanks Sheila, everything was scrumdiddlyumptious. All this was even sweeter than a signed Georges St. Pierre poster I asked you to bring back for me.
