Cake + Baby + Puppy
This past Saturday we had a little get together at our place for my birthday and to watch the UFC fight. The highlight of the party was a cake, a baby and a puppy.
The Cake
This cake was made by friend Lisa. Can you believe that this was only her 2nd time working with fondant. What a beauty of a cake. It’s a three layer carrot cake with cream cheese icing in between. This thing had to weigh at least 6-7 lbs. Just how I like my cake. It was delicious!

The Baby
Meet Christopher Wood:
Little Christopher was born on March 28, 2011 @ 5:11 p.m. weighing in at 7 lbs 10 oz. The pictures seen here are of him at almost 11 weeks weighing in at approx. 15 lbs! Isn’t he the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.
He had just recently learned to hold his head up.
Here’s Christopher and his lovely mom Sarah. They drove all the way in from Abbotsford for the party. Sarah even managed to bring chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate coconut cookies. Talk about a super mom! Doesn’t she look great…

Apparently these sneakers are a trend with babies…and with elderly folk. A couple of my friends both had said “My grandpa has these shoes!”.
The Puppy
Meet Stella:
An adorable French bulldog at around 14 weeks who belongs to our friend Chad.
She was a very well behaved puppy at the party.
Looks like somebody’s a bit partied out…too much excitement for a little pup I guess…

Uncle Fatih’s Pizza’s newest delivery boy. Betcha didn’t know Steve worked part time there. Kidding.
We ordered 2 Beef and Blue Cheese, 1 spicy mushroom, 1 Hawaiian and a 1 veggie lovers. To my surprise when I opened the box that was supposed to contain the veggie lovers there was a meat lovers instead. How wrong could one order get?? Good thing I love me some meat.
